About this site

This website is created on 23 May 2021 and is dedicated to activist, journalist Phạm Đoan Trang while she's being detained by the Vietnamese government.

Legal Initiatives for Vietnam, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that Trang cofounded in 2014, is responsible for managing the website and advocating for her freedom.

We launch the website on the occasion of Trang's 43rd birthday on 27 May 2021. It is specifically for the purposes of international advocacy and research, thus, the website is presented in English. For Vietnamese audience, please refer to Trang's blog and her Facebook profile.
